User Experience (UX):

Our goal is to challenge players so they can understand the difficulties of achieving a sustainable environment that balances CO2 and energy production. However, since we aim to attract casual gamers, the game should not be overly difficult. Striking the right balance of difficulty is essential to ensure an enjoyable and engaging experience for a wide range of players.

To achieve this, we will focus on creating intuitive controls, clear tutorials, and a well-designed UI that allows players to easily access necessary information and tools. Feedback mechanisms, such as visual and audio cues, will be implemented to provide players with a clear understanding of their actions' impact on the game environment. By offering an accessible yet challenging experience, we hope to create a game that appeals to both casual and experienced gamers: a game that is “easy to play, but hard to master” and that encourages users to explore the complexities of sustainable city planning.
